Do I need to add any additional spices or ingredients?

Other than your choice of protein, no additional spices or ingredients are needed. Our Meal Bombs come pre-measured with all the spices you need for a delicious meal.

Do I need to use an Instant Pot to make Pot Roast?

No, you don’t need to use an Instant Pot. While it’s the quickest option, you can also prepare the Pot Roast using other methods::

  • Slow Cooker: Add 3 ½ pounds of beef chuck roast (cut into pieces) or a meat alternative, 2 cups of water, and 1 InstaBomb. Set the cooker on low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours.
  • Stove Top: Sear the meat, then add 3 cups of water and the InstaBomb. Simmer on medium-low heat for 3 ½ hours. Stir occasionally.

Are these Bombs vegetarian or vegan friendly?

Each of the Bombs is both vegetarian and vegan friendly. You can use any protein alternative of your choice to make your Birria or Pot Roast simply substituting the meat for a plant-based protein, jackfruit, oyster mushrooms, lion's mane mushrooms, potatoes, tofu, tempeh or any other vegetable of choice.

How much is the shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination.

How many Bombs do I get in one package and how many people does that feed?

Each InstaBomb container has 2 Bombs in it. Each Bomb will feed 6 people. One container will feed 12 people. We recommend using 1/2 pound of meat or meat alternative per person. So one container of InstaBomb (2 Bombs), with 6 pounds of chuck roast and 4 cups of water will feed 12 people. 

Can I add vegetables to the dish?

You absolutely can add additional vegetables to the Pot Roast meal. We suggest adding baby yukon potatoes and carrots to cook alongside your meat for a delicious one pot meal. 

Do I need to use an Instant Pot or can I use a slow cooker or stove top?

We prefer the Instant Pot because the technology is terrific and the pressure from the pressure cooker makes the dish so quickly. The slow cooker is also convenient and can be used on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 hours. The stove top can be used as well; however, we suggest searing the Pot Roast meat prior to cooking on the stove top. 

Should I sear the meat first? 

There is no need to sear the meat in the Instant Pot or the slow cooker; however, we do suggest you add salt and pepper and sear the meat when cooking on the stove top. This will help seal in the flavor when using this cooking method. 

Are the Bombs gluten-free?

These Bombs are made in our own facility by us, and we do not use any ingredients that contain gluten. However, we are not third-party tested and therefore cannot say that we are 100% guaranteed to be gluten-free.
